THE LONG HOT SUMMER

If it's not hot enough for you yet, then get over to the "LONG HOT SUMMER" show which will open Wednesday, June 30th!
Yes, that's Wednesday!  The 4th of July weekend starts right here at the Pearl.  We have outstanding art for every taste.  Nudes and Whimsies really work well together.  You'll appreciate the fanciful naked Bunny and Chipmunk of Megan Bell, the amazing work of Susan Sommer-Luarca (she's the official artist for the 2010 Winter Olympics), and  Bryan Cooper's dark and quirky images. Many of the usual suspects will be here too so expect to see Allie Jensen's watercolors, Jeannie Graham's nude and her wonderful long necked gals, Lauren Pope has two pencil sketches you shouldn't miss.
If you aren't familiar with J.T. DeShong's "Little Women" get here early because the collectors of these babes will.  J.T. has also got the most sought after accessory of the summer in her beautiful beaded bracelets.  Oh! and please don't let me forget that she paints too.
Darren Maine has come from Stillwater with three remarkable nude drawings.  He's been busy with his new daughter and we are so happy to welcome him back.
I could go on and on, but you really should just slide on by for the opening 5-8, Wed., June 30th.
